The presence of international students enhances FSHA, bringing to the campus a richness of various cultures and traditions. The English Language Learners Department strives to make each international student conscious of her dignity as a person endowed with unique gifts and talents. The ELL faculty endeavors to motivate its international students to persevere in their study of English; to develop their intellectual, emotional and social growth; to value bilingualism and to appreciate their cultural heritage, as well as the cultural heritage of others; and to be aware of global needs as they pursuer higher studies here in the U.S. or in their native country.
