Applicants must submit the following application materials: the Application for Admission, the Student Statement and the Parent Recommendation(s).
Please include with your application materials the $250 application fee.
NOTE: To ensure safe delivery, please send the application to the FSHA Admissions Office via DHL rather than the standard postal service and please keep a copy for your records.
Submit the Transcript Request Form and Academic Reference Requests included in the application packet to the applicant's current school for completion. Recommendations are required from three individuals: the principal of the student's current school, her current math teacher and her current English teacher. The school should forward the documents directly to the FSHA Admissions Office OR the applicant can retrieve the documents from her school and send them directly to the FSHA Admissions Office in a sealed envelope.
An Admissions Office representative will contact the applicant's family to arrange an interview with the student and her parent(s) following receipt of the application materials. In person interviews are REQUIRED for all international student applicants and their families.
International applicants must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). These scores must be sent directly to FSHA. Please go to the following websites for more information on both exams www.toefl.org and www.ssat.org
Notification letters will be mailed to each applicant once the Admissions Committee has considered the completed application.
Foreign certification is required by the United States Government in order to process an I-20 (the prerequisite to an F-1 Student Visa). FSHA is certified to issue I-20's only after the applicants have been accepted and FSHA has received their contract and deposit. Parents must submit copies of their most recent bank statements and a copy of their daughter's passport to the Admissions Office. If the applicant does not require an F-1 Student Visa, parents must provide documentation, such as a U.S. Passport or U.S. Green Card, that supports her ability to enter the U.S. as a student.
