Dear Alumnae,
I am pleased to say that the Alumnae Reunion 2008 was a huge success! With over 100 graduates in attendance on Saturday, April 26, 2008, the halls at FSHA were bustling with activity and were once again filled with familiar voices from days gone by. Celebrating their Golden Anniversary were the ladies from 1958 with an impressive 25 members from their class in attendance. Also celebrating a major milestone, were the graduates from the class of 1948, honoring their 60th reunion. A very energetic class of 1988 was also present at the luncheon as were members of the classes of '53, '63, '68, '73, '78, '83, '93, and '98, all celebrating their graduations from Flintridge.
With the excitement of such a momentous occasion still reverberating, it is hard to believe that there is still even more to be enthusiastic about. As was mentioned during the reunion meeting, a challenge was set in motion by alumna Marina Marelli '78 to encourage all FSHA alumnae to give back to the Academy that gave them so much. Marina issued a call to action and offered a dollar for dollar match up to $25,000 for every donation made during the month of May. I am thrilled to inform you that combined with the $250 donation from the graduating class of 2008, FSHA Alumnae have already raised $6,000. We ask that you also take action today and help us meet the challenge by sending in your contribution to FSHA or by going online.Thank you to all who made your contributions!
I would also like to thank the class representatives who worked so diligently to pull together such a successful weekend. We would not have had such an amazing turnout without you. Thank you as well to the Alumnae Association and to the FSHA Development and Alumnae Office. Your efforts were greatly appreciated.
It will be hard to top this reunion weekend, but gearing up are the next set of classes including the 50 year reunion gals from 1959. Get ready classes of 4's and 9's! Class representatives will be contacting you soon. If you are interested in helping represent your class, please contact me. We're looking forward to an eventful year of planning and preparing for another large gathering of our distinguished alumnae.
Thank you again to all who attended and participated.
Sincerely,
Paula Capriccio Orlandini '71
Alumnae Association President

Class Reps
Here are the 3 basic things a class representative does: 1. Make a list of all classmates associated with your class. 2. Collect contact information - address, phone and email. 3. Work with your reunion planners to provide the contact info so they can inform classmates of an upcoming reunion. That's it, pretty easy but very helpful when reunion time rolls around.
Please contact us at alumnae@fsha.org if you are able to be the Representative for your class or need more details!
