AP Environmental Science Classes Raising Funds for Local Cottonwood Canyon
Do you enjoy being greeted by deer in the morning as you drive up the Hill?
The deer that you enjoy call the 11-acre Cottonwood Canyon that leads to FSHA their home. Sadly, this important habitat corridor that links our hill to Hahamongna Park and Angeles Forest is in danger of being sold to developers. The AP Environmental Science classes are coming together to preserve Cottonwood Canyon by raising money for Arroyos and Foothills Conservancy.
SoulCycle EventThe first event is a SoulCycle spinning class on May 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Soul Cycle Pasadena, instructed by Jillian Davis, an FSHA alumna. Admission to the class is $50 for one space or $90 for two. Seats are limited, so we ask that you reserve your spot by

Cottonwood Arts & Eco Festival We are also putting together the "Cottonwood Arts & Eco Festival," to be held on Friday, June 5, from 3:30-7 p.m. at Memorial Park in La Canada. Admission is $5. We will have carnival-style games, food, face painting, an art class, and live bands as entertainment. In addition, we will be organizing a 50/50 raffle and will be selling various recycled art objects, handmade body scrubs, lotions, chapsticks, and organic foods.
All proceeds from both events will go to support the conservation of the Cottonwood Canyon.
