Speech and Debate Novices Compete at First Tournament of the Year

On Saturday, many of FSHA's speech and debate team novices competed at their first tournament at Arcadia High School. Over 240 novices from 15 area schools competed at the Package Deal Tournament.
 
Tologs represented our school well, earning ribbons of excellence (top 20%), superior (top (10%) and freshman Catherine Bauer earned top speaker trophies in her Congressional Debate Rounds and Speech Rounds.
 
Melissa Bautista earned a superior rank in Speech. Cinthya Hernandez, Samantha Godinez, Hannah Douglas, Mila Mendoza, Grace Sadihiro, and Alice Long earned an excellence rank in Speech. Mila Mendoza and Cinthya Hernandez also earned an excellent rank in Congressional Debate.
