Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is excited to construct a new partially subterranean parking structure on the site of the current Junior Lot. The structure will have 239 spaces. This will accommodate current faculty, staff, students and visitors, and it will minimize street parking during special school events. The parking structure will positively impact the neighborhood by reducing the queue line during drop-off and pick-up, improving traffic circulation around campus and reducing the number of daily trips as parents will not be required to make multiple trips for students eligible to drive and park on campus.
The partially subterranean parking structure will be integrated into the surrounding area with lush landscaping of trees and shrubs. The top level of the structure will be at the same elevation as the walkway in front of the cottages.
The structure will also include a tower to accommodate an elevator, stairway and pedestrian bridge to allow access from the lower levels of the structure to the high-school campus.
