A Plan for 2020-21

Learning and teaching during a global pandemic requires a nimble plan that maintains the hallmarks of a holistic Flintridge Sacred Heart education. Our updated learning plan allows us to respond to changing situations while protecting the health and well being of our students, faculty, and staff.

We have developed new methods and programs that allow for more flexibility to learn on campus, off campus, synchronously (real-time) and asynchronously (self-guided).

As many families indicated in a spring survey, Flintridge Sacred Heart successfully navigated the distance learning environment. Since then, we honed many of our practices and programs. Since the end of the 2019-20 school year, 100% of our faculty have engaged in deeper learning through our partnership with OneSchoolhouse to design, build, and teach courses that can easily transition from online to on-site. Our program allows us to switch seamlessly from online to on-site to online without any disruption to our schedule. While we are unable to forecast the public health outlook, we are well prepared and confident to thrive in any scenario and will maintain the highest quality instruction and programming.
