What’s your role in the boarding hall?
I am a resident supervisor.
What made you want to work at FSHA?
Having grown up in the area, I had many friends who attended FSHA and had wonderful experiences here. I knew that the environment would be welcoming and I was excited to work at such a distinguished school.
What most excites you about your work here on the Hill?
The students! They’re so fun and full of energy and there’s never a boring day here.
What are the two most important things prospective boarding students should know about life in the boarding hall?
Students make such close friends in the hall. They get to live with their best friends and spend a ton of quality time together. Living here also teaches them how to be independent in so many aspects of their lives and although it can feel difficult sometimes, it’s an empowering experience.
What is FSHA’s best kept secret?
The campus and its surroundings are so beautiful. It’s nice to come up the Hill and get away but also be able to explore so many parts of Los Angeles whenever you want.
What’s your favorite spot on campus?
The area by the pool has an amazing view of Pasadena.
What do you love about the all-girls school environment at FSHA?
I love how passionate and focused the culture of the school is. The students are excited about their classes and activities and it makes the environment really positive. I’m constantly in awe of everything the students achieve and how hard they work.
What’s been your favorite boarding hall experience?
The monthly birthday dinners are always so fun. The students have a great time celebrating each other’s birthdays and the food is amazing.
What are you surprisingly good at?
I worked as a barista for a few years so I make good coffee!
Where can we find you when you’re not in the boarding hall?
I love spending time with my friends and family, listening to music, and watching Netflix.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?
Definitely my family! My parents are so loving and supportive of everything I do, and they’ve given me so much to help me succeed. My sister and I are also very close and I can always rely on her to make me laugh. Back
