Transportation

Campus Traffic & Our Community Commitment

We partner with the City of La Cañada Flintridge through our Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to carefully manage campus traffic. This agreement limits the number of vehicles entering and exiting campus each day and reflects a shared responsibility among all families.

Carpooling and participation in our bus program are essential to reducing congestion, supporting safety, and being good neighbors.

Bus Program (Recommended Option)

We continue our partnership with Mission School Transportation to provide a safe, reliable alternative to driving.

What’s New:

  • Newer-model buses for added comfort and reliability
  • Exploring technology upgrades for improved communication
  • Expanded routes with more convenient stops

Cost:

  • $1,500 per year (reduced from $1,945)

Choosing the bus helps reduce traffic, supports on-time arrival, and gives students a calm, connected start and end to their day.

Student Parking (2026–2027)

Where Students Park
All student parking will be located in the Lower Parking Lot, a gated and secured area dedicated to student drivers. This change improves supervision, reduces congestion, and enhances safety in high pedestrian areas.

Carpool Drop-Off
All carpool drop-offs will take place in the Upper Parking Lot. With employees arriving earlier in the day, this creates a calmer, more predictable drop-off experience.
Single-rider drop-off and pick-up are not permitted per CUP guidelines.

Cost & Priority

  • $850 per space (annual)
  • Priority given to seniors (carpool not required)

Parking Timeline

  • May 5, 2026: Applications released
  • May 15, 2026: Senior priority deadline
  • August 16, 2026: Applications close (or when full)
  • August 17, 2026: Remaining spots released to waitlist

Juniors:

  • May apply for the waitlist by May 15
  • Parking is a senior privilege; availability is not guaranteed
