What’s your role in the admissions office?

I serve as the director of admissions and enrollment management, and I look forward to working with prospective students and their families.
What made you want to work at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

Flintridge Sacred Heart has a wonderful reputation for its commitment to educating young women for a life of faith, integrity and truth. As a product of an all-girls Catholic high school, I could see myself as a member of this community – a place where our girls become curious thinkers and the best version of themselves.
What most excites you about your work here on the Hill?

Being lucky to work with wonderful colleagues; assisting students and families; and seeing our girls walk securely and confidently out into the world, making their indelible mark across the globe. And I get to this in an amazing location on the Hill!
What is the most important thing prospective students should know about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

We know that the admission process can be overwhelming but know that our team is here to assist – don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. We also encourage you to visit us on the Hill. It’s the best way to learn more about Flintridge Sacred Heart and all the opportunities we have to offer.
What’s your favorite spot on campus?

So many spots to choose from but I love the fact that you can stand at various places that overlooks Pasadena and its surroundings.
What do you love about the all-girls school environment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

That our girls can take center stage and be in an environment that is supportive, encouraging and where they can discover their limitless potential.
What are you surprisingly good at?

Finding good deals and new products at Costco!
Where can we find you when you’re not working?

With my friends – exploring new restaurants. I am always looking to try new things but I also have my go-to places for various types of cuisines.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?

Without a doubt, my family – my grandparents and parents especially.

What’s your role in the admissions office?

As the associate director of admission, I assist prospective students and their families through the admission process, and ensure that the mission, culture, and spirit of FSHA is shared throughout our local community.
What made you want to work at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

Having grown up in Los Angeles, I had some knowledge of FSHA. However, it was not until I made it up the Hill where I began to discover all the wonderful opportunities that the school has to offer. I feel very fortunate to be representing an institution that prides itself on nurturing the intellectual growth of today’s young women. Not to mention the view!
What most excites you about your work here on the Hill?

I love working in the field of admissions and am thrilled to begin building relationships with prospective students, families, community partners, and of course the Flintridge Sacred Heart community.
What are the two most important things prospective students should know about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

All prospective students should know that we are here for them. From the moment a prospective student inquires about our school to the moment she walks the graduation stage. Flintridge Sacred Heart is here to embrace each and every student’s unique talents so that they may reach their goals.
What do you love about the all-girls school environment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

That every girl is empowered to celebrate her gifts and release her full potential to change not only the local community, but the world as well.
What's your favorite spot on campus?

I can name a handful of places, but I must say the view from the pool area is spectacular. Feeling the breeze as I look over the city is truly priceless.
What are you surprisingly good at?

Playing the piano. It soothes me after a long day.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?

At home spending time with my loved ones or going on a spontaneous road trip. I love exploring new places.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?

I come from a very small and close-knit family who have been there with me every step of the way. As such, they have had the biggest positive impact in my life.

Flintridge Sacred Heart is truly a welcoming community.
What most excites you about your work here on the Hill?

In my opinion, the most exciting part of my job is working the admissions events and meeting new families.
What are the two most important things prospective students should know about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

The most important thing prospective students should know about the school is that you never really leave the Hill even after graduating. Lifelong bonds and a true sense of sisterhood really epitomize what the heart of Flintridge Sacred Heart represents.
What’s your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus overlooks the Rose Bowl and Pasadena. What a fantastic view!
What do you love about the all-girls school environment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

What I love about the all-girls learning environment is that the focus can truly be on academics, empowerment, carefree fun, individuality and collaborative growth. Flintridge Sacred Heart challenges and nurtures the holistic development of young women.
What are you surprisingly good at?

I am a trained makeup artist and have helped my sisters and friends with their makeup predicaments for years.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?

When I am not working, you can always find me with my big family, my wonderful husband Chris and our goofy dog. Going to concerts, thrift store shopping or a family dinner at my parent’s house are some of my favorite activities.
What is Flintridge Sacred Heart’s best kept secret?

There's so much wildlife here! From the graceful deer to the sun-bathing lizards, there has not been a day since I started working here that I have not seen some sort of creature on campus.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?

My family. Without them I am nothing.

What’s your role in the admissions office?

I am often the first point of contact for students and families. I also make sure that applications are completed, do research and projects, and help to plan events.
What made you want to work at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

There’s a longer story for another day that involves my dog, but the short answer is that I wanted to work here because of the interesting work I do and the wonderful people that I work with.
What most excites you about your work here on the Hill?

Every year we get to shepherd a new group of girls through this wildly interesting process. It’s exciting to see so many different girls who all want to attend Flintridge Sacred Heart for their own reasons.
What are the two most important things prospective students should know about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

You will probably fall in love with this location, which is great because I did too! People here are truly kind – the students, teachers, administrators, staff, everyone.
What is Flintridge Sacred Heart’s best kept secret?

To me, the boarding program! Growing up in the area, I never heard that Flintridge Sacred Heart had a boarding program for US and international students. It’s such a unique and beneficial experience for everyone here.
What do you love about the all-girls school environment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

It allows these girls to be confident in their abilities and become self-assured. They are encouraged to find their place in the world and, once found, fully inhabit that place.
What’s your favorite spot on campus?

The Arts Center. It’s just stunning.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?

At home with my dog Maggie, catching up on TV shows. Other good bets of where to find me: discount shopping, taking walks in the park, reading, or out to dinner with my friends.
What are you surprisingly good at?

Genealogical research. I love devoting myself to tracing my ancestry, adding to my family tree, and compiling stories before they are lost in time.
