Dear Fellow Tologs,
My name is Molly Weber Girardi ‘00 and I am the President of the Alumnae Association. Four years ago, I rekindled my relationship with FSHA by volunteering to speak at Career Day. I was so impressed with the school and all they had accomplished in the years since my graduation that I wanted to be a bigger part of this wonderful group again.
Looking back over the past year, we Tologs have a lot to feel good about. For the first time ever, we had reunion events that catered not only to alumnae of all ages and interests, but also to their families. Second, the school unveiled the newly remodeled Arts Center (previously known to many of us as “the gym” or “the auditorium”). For those that have not seen it, the building itself is a work of art, and will no doubt foster the young creative minds of current and future Tologs. The building has a world-class stage and sound equipment, a ceramics studio, a workshop/classroom where students can make professional-grade sets and costumes, and more importantly, a HUGE new women’s restroom.
Part of the foundation of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is based upon the strength of our alumnae community. I am consistently amazed by the smart, dynamic, driven women that make up our alumnae. We are poised leaders rooted in the values that the Dominican Sisters instilled in us. I encourage all of you to get involved with our Alumnae Association in whatever capacity works for you. Come to a meeting, volunteer at Career Day or College Day, attend a networking event or one of the many student activities and performances, or give of your time in other ways.
I look forward to meeting and connecting with many of you over the next two years. There will always be a place for every one of you on the Hill and in the alumnae network, and it is my goal to continue to engage and strengthen this network of strong Flintridge Sacred Heart women. If you are interested in getting more involved, please contact Colette Connor, director of alumnae relations, at firstname.lastname@example.org
