Speech and debate team member competes at state championship

Congratulations to speech and debate team captain Stephani Miranti ‘19 (on the right) who reached the semi-final round at the 62nd annual California Speech & Debate Association State Championship Tournament. She was among the top 16 students in impromptu speaking.

Over 1,200 of California’s best high school debaters and speakers from 160 schools gathered to compete. She is pictured here with Samantha Godinez ‘20, who also competed and will be next year’s team captain.
