Freshman religion students explore class themes during downtown excursion

Students in our freshmen religion classes travelled downtown to visit the Homeboy Industries exhibit at the Central Library, have dinner at Olvera Street and see the Virgen de Guadalupe play at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. During the trip, they revisited past themes from the class and introduced upcoming themes. “Many were visiting a number of our destinations (if not all) for the first time. They gained a greater sense of the diversity that LA has to offer them!” said Ms. Jimenez.
