The Parents’ Guild organizes and supports a number of events for the school community that enhance the overall school experience for the girls, as well as support Flintridge Sacred Heart’s mission and vision.
These events are listed below.Parents at Gala
BACK-TO-SCHOOL PARENT PARTY (SEPTEMBER 7)

MOTHER-DAUGHTER COMMUNION BREAKFAST (October 6)
Though called the “Mother-Daughter” Communion Breakfast, ALL the special women in our Tologs’ lives are invited to spend the morning, dining and sharing in this Sunday morning liturgy held in the gym of the Student Activity Center as part of Veritas Week.
GOLF TOURNAMENT (October 14)
The Harry G. Johansing Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner supports the Harry G. Johansing Scholarship Fund. The golf portion of the day is followed by a cocktail reception and dinner attended by golfers and non-golfers alike. Parents support the event as guests, patrons and sponsors.
FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE (October 16)
Since the 1960s, the Father-Daughter Dance has given Tologs and their fathers a chance to dine and dance together. Today’s event is a formal, themed, and a sometimes costumed affair that includes a dance-off between father-daughter teams from the different classes. Running parallel to the Father-Daughter Dance is the Tologs Sisters Event: Dinner and a Movie. Started by three students in response to their own family circumstances, this event is an alternative activity for our young women who, for whatever reason, may not be attending the Father-Daughter Dance.
GALA (March 7)
Gala is held every spring for the benefit of a special need that is identified by the Administration. Gala activities include a Silent Auction, Jewelry Raffle, Cash Raffle, and Life Auction. This special event is sometimes held in Flintridge Sacred Heart’s beautiful, historical main building, and occasionally off-site.
MOTHER-DAUGHTER LUNCHEON (March 15)
Held in the spring of each academic year, this event brings Tologs and their mothers together to reminisce and celebrate their experience on the Hill. A special feature of this event since the 1960s was a fashion show, but today the seniors pay tribute to their mothers by taking to the podium and making pronouncements that almost always elicit precious tears!
