List of 1 frequently asked questions.

The Flintridge Fund is a community-wide fundraiser supported annually by current parents, parents of alumnae, alumnae, grandparents, faculty/staff and the Board of Directors. The Flintridge Fund underwrites every part of the Tolog experience and the participation of each current family allows us to begin this school year with a solid foundation of support.

Our goal for the 2023-24 school year is to reach 100% participation in the Flintridge Fund. Thank you for your support in this effort!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

List of 8 frequently asked questions.

  • What is the difference between a pledge and a gift?

A gift is paid immediately via credit card, check, cash, stock or any other form of payment. A pledge is a promise to give. All pledges to the 2023-24 Flintridge Fund are due in full by June 30, 2024. You are also welcome to set up a recurring monthly/quarterly donation at the time of your pledge. Just choose the option that works best for you under the “contribute to your pledge” dropdown box.
  • What is the deadline to participate in the Flintridge Fund each year?

Current families are asked to pledge their support by September 30, 2023. Gifts and pledges must be received by June 30, 2024. We encourage you to make your gift on the best timeline for your family–this is why a pledge is a great option! It confirms your support and sets a timeline for payment.
  • Can I submit a matching gift?

We encourage you to look into your company’s matching gift program in order to double (or even triple!) your impact. Simply complete the matching gift details on the pledge form and the Advancement office will follow up with you to confirm your match and submit any required paperwork.

  • Is there a minimum donation requirement?

There is no minimum annual donation requirement and we only ask that you make a gift that is meaningful to your family.
  • Does purchasing tickets to a Flintridge Sacred Heart event (golf tournament, gala etc.) count as my participation?

No. Events at Flintridge Sacred Heart support specific initiatives and capital improvement projects. The Flintridge Fund is an annual fundraiser that benefits ALL areas of a Flintridge Sacred Heart education. Please consider your Flintridge Fund pledge before enjoying the amazing event opportunities each year.
  • Is my gift to the Flintridge Fund tax-deductible?

Yes! Your donation to the Flintridge Fund is 100% tax-deductible. Flintridge Sacred Heart is a tax-exempt organization under 501(c)3 of the IRS code, ID # 95-073-9610.
  • Why don’t you increase tuition to cover the cost to educate each student?

We work hard to keep our tuition as low as possible so that we can make a Flintridge Sacred Heart education affordable to as many students as possible. We depend on community support of the Flintridge Fund to close that gap. Each gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
WE ENCOURAGE FAMILIES TO SUPPORT THE FLINTRIDGE FUND BECAUSE IT PROVIDES FOR THOSE EXTRA THINGS THAT MAKE FLINTRIDGE SACRED HEART WHAT IT IS. A UNIQUE, WELCOMING, AND SAFE PLACE OF LEARNING WHERE GIRLS CAN REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS VALUABLE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. WE HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND HOW THE SUPPORTIVE FLINTRIDGE SACRED HEART STAFF AND FACULTY, THE CHALLENGING CURRICULUM, AND THE MYRIAD OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES HAVE HELPED AIDEEN REALIZE HER FULL POTENTIAL AS A STUDENT AND AS A YOUNG WOMAN.
