  • Residential Life: Spring Update

    Our residents have enjoyed a busy spring filled with studies, friends, fun experiences, experiential learning, and intentional programming. The girls have been able to learn and practice outdoor skills in Joshua Tree National Park, and camp in Malibu State Park. Our res life students learned to cook outdoors, hike safely, and practice useful skills when in the outdoors.

  • Residential Life: January & February Update

    As we celebrate Lunar New Year in our school community, we reflect on the goodness and spirit of our entire school family. Our winter fun began with a joyous Christmas season replete with Secret Santa fun and a beautiful dinner and gift exchange in the lounge. We explored local holiday fun and neighborhood Christmas lights, offered ice skating trips and more, and enjoyed our beautiful hall decorations and cozy nights in under our Christmas tree. Ms Singer led us through a lovely Hannukah dinner and games. Perhaps the highlight of Christmas on the Hill was being serenaded with Christmas carols by the Sisters!

  • Residential Life: December Update

    It is Advent and Christmas season here on the Hill, and our residential halls are beautifully decorated. The students returned to school on November 28 happy and rested, gearing up for the final two weeks of final exams and projects. We have an amazing group of young women in the halls who are deeply involved in the life of the school and serious about their academic studies. They are also quite competitive with their hall competitions, and recently enjoyed a mid-week frozen yogurt run for their prize.

  • Residential Life: October Update

    I hope this communication finds you well. I am pleased to update you on life in our residential life program and some important upcoming dates and programs.
    The girls in our care are enjoying a nice mix of fun and spirited community building activities mixed with intentional programs and life skill development. Our weekend offerings are varied each weekend, and the girls eagerly sign up for trips to amusement parks, the beach, local attractions, movies, the theater, shopping and eating experiences, and more. Our life skills component has offered self-defense training, cooking, baking, and sewing lessons, with financial literacy, car maintenance, and gardening next on the agenda.
