Schuyler Standish, a former and beloved art teacher at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy for over 30 years is a true Renaissance man in the visual and performing arts world, becoming excellent throughout his life at dance, acting, music and visual arts. He started teaching art in 1972 at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, from where he retired in 2002. Collectors of his work include Kay Ballard, Dave Brubeck and William Shatner.
At the event, numerous figures from FSHA's past came to shake the artist's hand as well as enjoy and purchase numerous paintings. At the end of the day, the community had raised almost $10,000 for this esteemed, beloved Flintridge fixture.
