Soccer Stars Receive National Kudos

ESPN RISE, a site devoted to high-school sports, has named soccer player Katie Johnson '12 to the All-America first team and her teammate Natalie Zeenni '11 to second team.
The honors, announced here, came at the end of a year that saw the Tologs win their first CIF Southern Section Div. I title and finish with a No. 8 ranking in the country. Katie and Natalie have already received multiple honors from the Mission League and local newspapers. This is the first time any FSHA soccer players have received All-America awards.

They join teammates Breeana Koemans '12, Tera Trujillo '12 and Kayla Mills '13 on the All-State team for California, which is viewable here. Out of the hundreds of players named to state teams from across the country, 36 will be chosen at a later date to join the All-America team.
