New Look for FSHA Website Coming 3/17
St. Patrick's Day will be a lucky one for visitors on the FSHA website who prefer to use tablets or cell phones; a redesigned site that works with all mobile devices goes live that day.
On March 17, a new, fresher-looking FSHA website will debut to students, teachers, parents and visitors alike. The software behind the new site's infrastructure resizes the site to fit whatever device you're using — a concept known as Responsive Web Design (RWD).
This new setup also allows for bigger, newer photos and a refined navigation; the boarding program gets its own heading on the homepage and the various pages that current and incoming FSHA families need to access — such as those for the Tolog Transportation Program and Textbooks — will now be located under the Parents link.
The redesign process began in spring 2013 when Whipple Hill, FSHA's web provider, announced an upgrade to its systems, which is already in use on the Hill in the form of TologNet. TologNet will remain the same, but now, the entire FSHA website will benefit from these upgrades.
