Pasadena Educational Foundation Announces Annual Battle of the Bands Competition

The Pasadena Educational Foundation is once again looking for local teen-bands to compete in our Annual Battle of the Bands competition scheduled for September 21, 2015 at Levitt Pavilion. More information is online at http://rock4pef.com

Last year's Battle of the Bands showcased 50 local student musicians, received 4,000+ online votes, and the concert was attended by more than 600 people. This year looks to be even bigger!

As a community focused event, we would love to have students represented from all the schools in our community. We are currently pre-registering bands online with the online voting portion of the competition launching in August. Spaces are filling up fast!

The Rock4PEF Battle of the Bands competition will consist of a first round online contest with up to 10 bands moving on to the big stage at Levitt. Prominent musicians, industry professionals, and special guests will judge the online and live Battle of the Bands competitions.

One winner will be invited back to the Rock4PEF benefit concert stage, on October 4 at Farnsworth Park, to get the festivities started as the opening act of a star-studded lineup of musical acts and special guests.

Since we want the bands to have as much time to prepare for the competition we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to let your students know before the school year ends.
