Tologs Succeed at Pasadena Bar Association Speech & Debate Contest

Eight Tologs represented Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy at the fifth annual Pasadena Bar Association Speech and Debate Contest on Saturday and competed with more than 20 other local high schools.

Four Tologs broke to the semi final rounds (top 30 over about 80 students).  Congratulations to Michelle Wang ’17 and Erin Cross ’17 who reached the top 25 and to Jennifer Miranti ’17 who placed tenth and Alexandra Tighe '17 who placed sixth!

You are cordially invited to see Michelle and Jennifer perform their speeches tomorrow after school in Room 26 along with a few other Speech & Debate team members as part of our annual showcase. Michelle’s speech is about the use of drones and Jennifer’s is about whether college athletes should be paid.
