Sloan Elmassian '17 wins champion titles at local competition

Sloan Elmassian '17 competed in a three-day equestrian show at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center last weekend. Friday she won the derby, resulting in a champion title and $1000 prize money. She donated her winnings to a foster youth support charity that transitions foster care students to adulthood and facilitates their successful pursuit of higher education. Sloan competed in six classes total and won first place in every class. She was awarded several champion titles as the result of her remarkable riding.
