What a weekend for FSHA's speech & debate team!

At the Bargain Belt Invitational at Claremont High School, freshmen debaters Victoria Hernandez and Lily Jiang won first place in their division novice public forum debate, topping 40 other teams from across the Southland.
 
At the inaugural Screamin' Eagles Tournament at Gabrielino High School, the speech team dominated both the novice and varsity divisions of impromptu speaking. Stephanie Miranti and Mila Mendoza took third and sixth place in varsity impromptu. In novice impromptu speaking, Nikki Godinez won first place, Ella Kitt, third and Izabel Mah y Busch won sixth place.
