LCF Planning Commission recommends certification of FSHA Draft EIR

PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE
October 2017

We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday, October 24, the City of La Cañada Flintridge Planning Commission voted unanimously to formally recommend certification of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) Specific Plan - our campus modernization project - and to recommended approval of the project to the City Council. We thank the City of La Cañada Flintridge Planning Department staff and the Commissioners for their hard work throughout this process.
 
This marks an exciting and critical milestone in the City's approval process, and we could not have done it without your help. Many of you took the time to write letters, attend meetings and formally speak in support of the project before the City and the entire community. We are extremely grateful for this support. Your actions made a real difference, and showed City staff and the Planning Commission FSHA's earnest commitment to being a good neighbor and valuable community resource, and to upholding the vision of our founding sisters' when they arrived on the hill nearly 86 years ago by continuing to provide young women with an exceptional education.
