IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding "Jesus Christ Superstar" auditions

Mock auditions and real auditions take place the week we return from Christmas break.
For both mock and real auditions, as well as callbacks, you are expected to dress nicely, hair off the face, no heels. You must bring your paperwork to the auditions (signed contract, completed audition form, fully filled-in calendars). Backing tracks for all the audition songs will be ready on Monday, Dec. 19.  A link will be sent at that time.
 
Mock Auditions are on Monday, Jan. 8, from 3-6 p.m. 
WHO ATTENDS MOCK AUDITIONS?  All theatre students in block C and any block E students who wish to be in the show. All other mock auditions for theatre students in blocks F and E take place during class time on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Non-theatre students are encouraged to take advantage of the mock audition and sign-up for a time slot. Everyone participating in the Monday auditions must sign up for a time slot via Sign-Up Genius at the link below:
 
Dance Auditions are on Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 3-5:30 p.m. 
WHO ATTENDS DANCE AUDITIONS? Everyone who wishes to be in the show. We will have a beginner routine and a more advanced routine. Stay tuned for further information about the dance auditions. Obviously, dress comfortably for movement.  
 
Real Auditions are Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 3-6 p.m.
WHO ATTENDS REAL AUDITIONS? Everyone who wishes to be in the show. They will be run exactly like mock auditions.
Everyone participating in the Wednesday auditions must sign up for a time slot via Sign-Up Genius at the link below:
 
Full Group Auditions are Thursday, Jan. 11, from 3-5:30 p.m.
WHO ATTENDS GROUP AUDITIONS? Everyone who wishes to be in the show. We will be engaging in theatre exercises, so dress for movement and bring an open mind, a creative spirit, and a desire to work collaboratively. Group auditions (and only group auditions) will be held in the LOUNGE in the ADMIN BUILDING.
 
Callback Auditions are Friday, Jan. 12 from 3-until we’re done.
WHO ATTENDS CALLBACK AUDITIONS?  On Thursday evening, a callback list and callback aides will be posted. We will only be calling back contenders for major roles. If you are not called back, it doesn’t mean you aren’t in the show. Solo singing within ensemble roles will not be called back at this time. We are able to determine those solos based on your auditions on the previous days. If you are on the callback list, please plan to attend the full callback session. If I can release you early, I will. For example, if you are only called back for Peter and all the Peter contenders are done by 3:45 p.m., you will be released. Remember, you may be called back for a role that is different than your audition, which is why you must be extremely familiar with the entire score of the show. The cast list will be posted over the weekend of January 13-15. REMINDER: Miss Mac has made times available for individual consultations prior to auditions so that you can prepare with confidence. Please take advantage of this opportunity. Break a leg!
