Tolog Skates for Team USA in International Figure Skating Competition

Katie Savoie '17 competed at Trophy D'Ecosse, a figure skating competition held in Dumfries, Scotland on February 12 and 13. Kari is a member of the Senior Ice'Kateers Synchronized Figure Skating Team based in Anaheim California. The team was selected by United States Figure Skating to represent the country at an international competition as Team USA. They skated to "Forever Young" and have a long program portraying the space race. The team skates two programs per competition and they had their highest season point total in Scotland. Additionally, it is the first international medal for the organization at the senior level and the first time an Ice'Kateers team scored over 100 points on an international long program.
