Prom Dress Collection Delivers 133 Dresses to Local Teens

Students, faculty and staff from Flintridge Heart Academy donated 133 dresses during our annual Prom Dress Collection. This is the seventh year that FSHA has partnered with the Pasadena Salvation Army for their Cherished Memories Campaign. On Saturday, March 12 the Salvation Army in Pasadena will open its doors to local teens so they can select prom dresses.
Over 1500 homeless children and teens attend LAUSD schools. The Cherished Memories Campaign means local teen girls can attend prom.
 
The class of 2017 earned a FREE DRESS Day for the second consecutive year for their generously donating the most dresses!
 
The dress donations by class are as follows:
 
Seniors - Class of 2016: 20
Juniors - Class of 2017: 46
Sophomores - Class of 2018: 34
Freshmen - Class of 2019: 22
Faculty/Staff/Others: 11
TOTAL: 133
