In my religious studies classes, I ask my students to be open, to participate to the utmost and to share their beliefs and stories. I am always amazed how my students are able to be vulnerable when discussing their faith with myself and their peers.

What do your students call you?

Ms. Davitt

What made you want to work at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

The school left a profound impact on me as a student. I am so happy I was able to come back to the hill and work with these amazing Tologs. The students inspire me on a daily basis!

What has been your favorite teaching moment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

It excites me to see my students grow and challenge themselves throughout the year. I love hearing their stories, seeing them work together and watching them push themselves outside of their comfort zones. In my religious studies classes, I ask my students to be open, to participate to the utmost and to share their beliefs and stories. I am always amazed how my students are able to be vulnerable when discussing their faith with myself and their peers.

What's your favorite spot on campus?

The hiking trail near the admin building!

What do you love about the all-girls environment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

I love how the girls empower one another and that they are not afraid to be their most authentic selves.

Who has made the biggest impact on your life?

My mom motivates and encourages me to advocate for myself and stay true to who I am. She continues to teach me many life lessons and has had such a big impact on my life.

What book, movie, work of art, piece of music, etc. can you not imagine life without?

In general, I cannot imagine a life without music! Music is so integral in telling stories and can help explain a situation or a feeling in a very beautiful way. In campus ministry at Flintridge Sacred Heart, retreat songs and music in general play such an important role with sharing, reflection and discussion.
