Getting the male lead (Bert) in the upcoming spring musical(Mary Poppins)

What three words describe you?

extrovert, loving, humorous

What's your favorite class at Flintridge Sacred Heart and why?

Theater, I never had professional training regarding acting, but Ms. Mac, our current theater teacher and director of theater productions, have taught me so much over the past three years. Not only acting skills but also how to become a better person and how to bond with others through theater. UBUNTU, I am because we are, is our motto as an actor and it has become my personal motto too generally in life. Theater taught me how to communicate with others and most importantly the idea of group work and cooperation.

What do you love about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

Flintridge Sacred Heart encourages girls to pursue their dreams and grab on to opportunities that a co-ed high school can never provide, including leadership and feminism.

What advice do you have for someone applying to Flintridge Sacred Heart?

If you are applying as a boarding student, remember: In the boarding hall, it is all about self-control and time management. Come and join us on the hill to accept this brand new challenge to become an outstanding individual who embraces changes and challenges and eventually succeeds in both school and personal life.

What do you do for fun?

Sign-out of the boarding hall with friends over the weekends and hang out together at fun places around LA.

Anything else you want to share about yourself?

I’m the first boarder to join theater productions as an ensemble member and become the lead after two years of hard work. So for those of you coming here as international students, don’t hide yourself in your room. Step out of your comfort zone and find your own interests like I did and shine!
