What's your favorite class at Flintridge Sacred Heart and why?

I'm currently taking Honors Scientific Research. It's a definite favorite of mine, not only because of the unique opportunity the class has given me to learn about the research process, but also because I've been able to choose to research a field I'm passionate about with the guidance and support of my peers and teacher. This class is allowing me to gain skills in lab techniques and comprehension of scientific literature, as well as collaboration and communication.

What do you love about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

Definitely the teachers because they truly dedicate so much of their energy to helping us understand new concepts, while still having fun. I've seen and experienced how much they care about us learning and succeeding.

What advice do you have for someone applying to Flintridge Sacred Heart?

I'd say when choosing a school, look for one that has strong programs in things you're interested in, but also has a variety of other academics and extracurricuar activities that allow you to branch out and try new things.  Knowing your strengths and passions is important, but participating in activities you've never done before can help you learn so much more about yourself!
