  What impact has Flintridge Sacred Heart had on your daughter?

  Caitlin told me that the experiences in philanthropy at Flintridge Sacred Heart that began in her freshman year when she greeted students from Santa Teresita at Christmastime to her senior year when she and other Tologs volunteered to help students with special needs made a big impact on her. These opportunities opened her eyes to her privilege. The community outreach projects instilled in her a strong desire to help others.
  
  

  I can see this impact carried on into her adult life. She is telling the stories of courageous individuals and their non-profits through her new podcast, “How Can I Help?” where she will help and encourage others to help in ways both big and small. Proceeds of her podcast will go to the non-profits she spotlights. She is a political activist as she serves as a leader of VoteMama.org, which is an organization that helps to get mothers elected to political office. 
  
  Profits of sales from her and her husband’s line of Share the Love bracelets from My Saint My Hero go to ChildHelp, a non-profit agency that assists abused children across the country. Flintridge Sacred Heart had a positive influence in her development and I am so proud of the woman she has become.

  Why does your family choose to support the Flintridge Fund?

  I have always held a firm belief in the mission of Flintridge Sacred Heart and I want to do what I can to make sure the school can carry on its mission from year to year. Graduates of Flintridge Sacred Heart have gone on to become outspoken advocates for social issues like women’s rights, poverty, healthcare and diversity. It’s imperative that this school continues the important work of preparing graduates of Flintridge Sacred Heart to be effective leaders in their communities.

  Why would you encourage other families to support the Flintridge Fund?

  I would encourage current families to support the Flintridge Fund because they can see the immediate benefits of their donations. The fund helps to support all of the school’s co-curricular activities (of which Speech & Debate is one dearest to my heart!) and helps to cover expenses not covered by tuition and grants. Donations to the Flintridge Fund help my team attend competitions by paying tournament fees and travel costs of coaches and chaperones. It would be impossible for our Speech & Debate team to do as well as we have without this support.
  
  

  I would encourage alumnae and their parents to continue to support the Flintridge Fund because the work and mission of the school is so important and their continued support would ensure Flintridge Sacred Heart can provide students the quality education and care they and their daughters received during their time on the Hill.
